Next to getting acquainted, Heart made a quick review of the officers’ responsibilities and members’ privileges. The information was extracted from the bylaws shared by Fides Carlos, Director of UST Office of Alumni Relations.
Immediately after the secret ballot election, Rhenee gave his speech as the first president. He emphasized on his 4-point leadership direction: gaining spiritual maturity; putting up a church choir by joining The Filipino Choir; valuing financial literacy; and building relationships through the support of the UST Alumni community.
Apart from the election, the gathering was filled with music and potluck food. Both Jeanra and Enna sang the “Amazing Grace” as opening prayer. At dinner time, Darryl launched his second album entitled “D’ Only Requirement is Listening”. He then distributed free album copies to his fellow Thomasians. The program culminated in a band performance with karaoke singing.
