Year ends with a delightful and sumptuous dinner
USTAAB ended this year with a delightful and sumptuous Christmas dinner held at the TT Blues Café on 14th December 2019.
The Year-end Gathering started off with an opening prayer led by Dominic Cordova. He thanked God for all the blessings bestowed upon the group along with all the successful activities for the year 2019.
As twenty members and their families gathered to celebrate, USTAAB President Theresa Cordova delivered her opening remarks by quoting His Excellency Ambassador Christopher B. Monetro’s words, “It is not the quantity but the quality that counts.” She likewise thanked all alumni for their unity and supporting the Association’s programs such as the Music Camp for Young Singers, a huge hit among the youth and their families.
Dinner was great and it was even better shared among friends at a round table. All present enjoyed the raffle draw as well as the Secret Santa with a twist when they exchanged gifts. Last but not least, the Thomasians had another opportunity to give back to the community by purchasing a 2020 calendar made by BEAMers youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder of La Vida Brunei.
Truly, this evening was packed with pure joy and kindness. Join us next year, would you? Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year!
