Officers pay visit to the Ambassador of the Philippines to Brunei Darussalam
The Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of the Philippines to Brunei Darussalam, Mr. Christopher B. Montero, was paid a courtesy call by the outgoing and incoming officers of the UST Alumni Association in Brunei on September 23, 2019.
The discussions focused primarily on the USTAAB goals and vision as well as its achievements since it has been established in 2016.
Moreover, they discussed issues, including the concerns of some Overseas Filipino Workers and how best to collaborate with the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines to further promote the programs for Filipinos working and residing in Brunei Darussalam.
Ambassador Christopher B. Montero is a career diplomat. He passed the Foreign Service Officers' (FSO) examinations in 1994 and entered the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) of the Republic of the Philippines in February 1995. His most recent assignment was as Ambassador of the Republic of the Philippines to the Kingdom of Cambodia from March 2015 to May 2019.
